The Kind Diet

"We can thank Alicia Silverstone for this meal," I said to Ron as I placed a bowl of Magical Healing Soup in front of him.

He picked up his spoon and pushed around the vegetables. "Is this daikon*?" he asked.

"Yep," I said.

"Is Alicia Silverstone married?" he said.

"Yes." I said. "And her husband has to eat all her recipes, too."

"How do you know?" Ron gave me a suspicious eye.

"There are pictures of him cooking with her in her book," I said.

*Ron's become familiar with the vegetable because I've been going daikon crazy in the kitchen. Daikon broth, daikon sauteed in Asian sauces, etc. It's a fertility booster.
