Three Things
Maria Schneider is the former editor-in-chief of Writer's Digest magazine. She moved on to freelance writing (yay!) and now publishes a blog full of info for writers, Editor Unleashed. I'm honored to have written a piece for her today about Retirement Plans for Writers.
Also, over at Mediabistro.com, the second installment of my essay series is running: Personal Essay Markets, Part II.
Finally, information about my fall class is online at The Writer's Center. If you want to publish your personal essays here are the details. The class size will be limited to 8, so each person's writing will receive plenty of individual attention. And it'll be held in Arlington, VA. For any Northern Virginia folks who have wanted to take a class at The Writer's Center but didn't want to trek up to Maryland, here you go.

Was it really such a short time ago that we met as fledgling writers? Nobody would guess it from the way you've taken off, Jenny! So pleased for you!
By the way, thanks for the comment about my blog photo. I took that in Argentina (Patagonia, to be exact) when we were there three years ago. It is an unbelievably gorgeous place!
