Waiting
Here is the 10-day extended forecast for LA:
Here today’s weather in DC:
I’m extra exhausted from working two full-time jobs these past six weeks (fact checking in an office by day, freelance writing at home by night), so please excuse my grumbly mood, but a little extended sunshine would be nice. Or, as they say in LA, abundant sunshine.I know the warm days are close. So close. Yet every moment that ticks by and drags another raindrop with it, well, it keeps me stuck in the blues.
It’s a Two Year Experiment folks. Two years. And not a second more.

Spring's around the corner. It's teasing us...every time we think we've reached the corner, it dances back and forth, giving us a taste of warm sunshine, then throwing a blast of cold air in our faces.
I thought you moved to PA or VA? Or was that someone else? Too much studying does not help the brain...

Just think of how much you will appreciate the sunshine when it arrives! I remember people practically dancing down the streets of Boston on the first sunny day. It is quite a feeling.

It is so hard, isn't it? I hope the cherry blossoms start poking their faces out at you soon.

I'm wrestling with that myself. Having lived in VA, I can testify that spring comes at least a half-hour earlier there than in MD, so prepare to take advantage of the benefits of your new "southern" digs :)

What?! Not a second more?

And hold him to it! Two years of misery is a long time!

Sorry about the rain...it is not my best friend either. Mr. Sun and I have this saying, "abundance is always better ;)"
If I could stick it in an envelope and send it to you that way, I would...
Big Love for the weekend,
xox Darlene

It's snowing in Chicago. Merry Easter!

I'm SO excited for the cherry blossom festival. It's getting closer...
