Spring ahead absolutely kills me. I mean it's been five days. And we're only talking about a one hour adjustment. But here it is, the middle of the night, and I'm awake. Too tired to do anything productive, but can't fall asleep. So I'm on the Internet and just decided I want to take a fly fishing lesson this summer in Montana. (It’s on my list of top 100 things to do before I croak.) My body clock must be of the cuckoo variety.

I HEAR you! I love the additional daylight hours, but I've not been able to enjoy them yet as I am so TIRED from being whacked out from the transition.
Yay for fly fishing. Sounds fun.

Fly fishing.
A River Runs Through It.
Enough said.
Next time you can't sleep, try watching the inside of your eyes.
Or counting trout.

We avoided the whole shift by completely forgetting to change the clocks! Colds and such kept us home from church (the only thing that would have clued us in) and at dinner time (around 6:45) I remembered and realized it was time to get my daughter ready for bed! She is still reminding me at bedtime that it's not really 8:30 but 7:30 so she shouldn't have to go. Can't convince her the transition is over.

I think it's all the tea you're drinking that's the real problem.

We resorted to going on vacation for the time change. Somehow, having the hotel staff at our place in Disneyland change the clocks while we were out riding the Matterhorn didn't bother me nearly so much.
The part where we flew back to pouring rain from five days in 75 degree sunshine was a little harder....
