Pins and Needles
I'm on pins and needles this weekend because Monday is the big day: my first acupuncture treatment.
Earlier, I e-mailed my friend Elizabeth who is coming with me to hold my hand.
"Sorry in advance if I cry," I typed.
"Sorry in advance if I cry, too" she typed back.
Well. This oughta be fun.

Oh, no! I'll be brave! Promise. I was just trying to make you smile before the big event. I should have realized it isn't a laughing matter. I've got stellar creds: went with a friend for a cortizone shot in her elbow. Nothng can top that experience!
