Dreamland

Last night I did something I've never done before.

I prayed before going to bed (okay, I've done that thousands of times). But I specifically prayed that God would reveal a wee little bit about my future in a dream. Not sure that's wise, but I'm trying so hard to be patient, wondering whether or not my husband and I will have kids. And my patience is wearing. So I thought maybe, only if God wanted to, he could give me a little clue in a dream.

So.

My dream.

Ron and I are with my brother and sister-in-law. They have a boy named Mike (in real life they don't have kids yet), and Mike is about four. He's wearing jeans, a plaid shirt, and little round spectacles.

The four of us (me, Ron, my brother, and sis-in-law) are looking at a house for sale and we are excited because the house has six bedrooms and we need that many rooms for all the "kids."

Only it's not clear if it's a house for us, or them, or all of us together. Besides, other than Mike, there are no other kids in the dream (certainly not six).

Also, there is a chef in the kitchen making tacos.

Huh.

P.S. A couple new posts are online over at EatWasaFeelGood.com/blog.

I vote you let the chef have one of the bedrooms. Tacos all the time! (Is that helpful?)

I am glad you prayed about it and asked God for a sign. There is not wrong or right way to ask for God's guidance, and so often our dreams do tell us so much. Your dream was interesting, not sure where the tacos and chef fit in, but the rest sounded comforting. I know I don't have to tell you this, but the times things turned out the best for me, is when I totally put them in Gods hands.
Peace and blessings being sent your way. XOXO

What a cool dream! I'm thinking the chef is making tacos because that's an easily scalable meal - you can make it for two or twenty (just in case you have that many kids...)

Whether or not, any of it comes true...it sounds like a nice dream! Especially like the big house and chef!

I love to dream...sometimes mine have meaning I can see, others, come straight out of the "blue"!

I bet the tacos means you're pregnant?

The boy with the glasses definately means you want to come baby-sit my two.

I dreamed of both my two years before they arrived. Granted one was a sea otter, but the other one was a real boy.

Wow, that is such a great dream! I believe that God shows us things from time to time. I also think that sometimes others are listening. So I tend to pray silently. That sounds paranoid, doesn't it? But the bible says that the devil is walking around like a lion seeking whom he may destroy.

I figure if God can make me and hear me pray from where ever he is, then he can hear me even if I don't speak. Does that make sense?

What an encouraging dream. And I love how God always throws in something extra that we can't exactly figure out (the chef making tacos) because no matter how we try, we can't figure God out precisely; it just doesn't work that way.

You're in good hands :)

A house represents you, so you're looking for a new you (as a Mom!) with many rooms for your family. And food represents nuture. You are being provided for in a good (and yummy!) way. I'd say it's a very positive dream that your dreams will come true! Keep faith!

Can't wait to see you in LA!
