Let it Rain
There was a drought in the land. Two farmers prayed to God for rain, but only one went out and prepared his fields. Who do you think had greater faith? --Facing the Giants
The past two days I’ve come across three different stories about women who miscarried or couldn’t get pregnant. Time went on. And on. And on. The women remained faithful. They are mothers now.
After a miscarriage it’s scary to continue pursuing the path of motherhood with my whole heart. But it’s time to prepare my fields for rain.

Beautiful! Preparing your fields for rain reminds me of a line in a movie called "Facing the Giants".

Not preggers yet - sorry for the confusion! Just trying with all my might to remain faithful and trust that motherhood will happen in one way or another :-)

The journey can be so up and down, but so worth it in the end. Just remember to focus on FAITH. Always keep the faith. Sending good blessing your way. XOXO

Absolutely, stay faithful. Let me be another story for your list, and five other mothers I could name right now who miscarried before (or in the middle of) having their wonderful children.
It's not always easy to think this way, but I would try to remember: miscarrying means you GOT PREGNANT. Which is awesome! Your body knows how to do it and will do it again.

I have been pregnant 5 times and have two beautiful girls (2 before my first and then one before my second). I always think to myself if I had not had that miscarriage than I would not have EJ or the same with Lida. I would have other kids, true but they would not be my special girls that I know and love. However painful the miscarriages were emotionally and physically, they were worth it when I look into their eyes and feel their love. I love your attitude and your openess. Ignorance is bliss when it comes to miscarriage. I hope and pray that most people will not have to experience this pain. But I agree with Kim, miscarriage means you can get pregnant, that is a huge obstacle that a great deal of people do not overcome! Keep the faith and I will be sending you good vibes! Keep informed but don't obsess. Get to the midwife or dr. as soon as you have a positive because they will help you monitor your early stages with blood tests and progestrone and making sure you are getting enough protein. I also went to the accupuncturist both times that I was successful. If I have a third, I will go to them first. I love your blog by the way. I read it every day! -Wendy
