A Great Pub
Oh, how I adore Whole Life Times magazine (as well as the rest of its clan: Common Ground, Chicago Conscious Choice, and Seattle Conscious Choice). They all focus on healthy, sustainable living and (here's the cool part) you can get a one year (free) subscription. So what are you waiting for…sign up! In their April 2007 issue my three favorite articles are, gosh, which ones? Maybe these?
- A shortie on French Rabbit wine (oui, oui)
- The What Counts column on eco and urban myths (under the French Rabbit picture)
- A book review of Twinkie Deconstructed (scroll down)
For any writers out there who like first person essay, they have a new column titled Life, the Universe and Everything (formerly their BackWords column).

The French Rabbit? Wasn't that on Sex and the City?
You totally had me fooled on the April fools. I was all, "men....those dogs....200 times a day?"
Also....the Twinkie thing is disgusting.

I get the Chicago one, but it seems like they're mostly interested in local-interest stories.
On another note, have you read this month's SELF magazine? The essay in SELF-expression reminded me of you (it's by Pari Chang, another lawyer-turned-writer, who also wrote some interesting essays for the NYT).

Yes, I read that essay in Self! The writer's career path brought back many memoires. :-) Now, everyone send out positive thoughts that my essay will be next...

Yes, here's hoping that next Self will have your essay. Every time I get one in the mail, I always look for it!
