I have a relative (who shall remain nameless) who has taken a new job. She is working for a consulting firm whose main client is some government agency that she can't disclose.
You're working for the CIA! I exclaimed.
No, no, no, she assured me. It's waaaay more boring than that.

I was listening to the radio this morning and they had an employment ad on for the CIA. I bet your relative is working for the CIA. She has to say that it's boring. She's not throwing me off that easily.

Sounds intriguing! Jenny, I am loving your blog and find that I am very jealous of your Colorado writer's retreat by the way. I think your path from lawyer to productive freelancer is remarkable and brave. Thanks for the inspiration. :)

I reran a post I did not too long ago after I heard an ad for the CIA. I just couldn't believe they had to advertise. Sadly, I could find no listing for a job that required joke writing or blogging!!
